Resident Evil Zero for the Wii

Famitsu magazine in Japan has revealed that Resident Evil Zero is getting a port for the Wii. Originally a game for the GameCube and recently surfacing again in Umbrella Chronicles, the game will make full use of the Wii’s unique controls to try and follow in the footsteps of the very successful Resident Evil 4. Hold your breath though, the game may be coming to Japan but may never make it to the West. Watch this space.

Gears of War 2 announced

Gears of War 2 has been officially announced for 360, well at least the US magazine GamePro has the game’s title on its front cover. There are no details released about the game itself, but I guess we’ll see more of the great combat system, more locusts and very wide men running about with big guns when they really should be playing American Football. Sounds good.
