New details of the Lost videogame have emerged thanks to a tucked-away preview in the Season 3 box set. You play a new survivor from the crashed Oceanic 815 plane and must unearth the secrets of the island alongside the current cast. You’ll also play through some flashbacks of your life – let’s just hope they’re not as boring as the ones in the TV series.

Tomb Raider, the new game may be getting the name Tomb Raider Underworld as the publishers have just patented the name. Could this be about Lara being caught up in the criminal underworld or could she be going back to her roots raiding tombs? We’ll have to wait and see.

Fifa 08 sales have topped a million giving Pro Evolution Soccer a thorough thrashing in the lead up to Christmas. Still plagued with slowdown issues on the 360 and the PS3 both online and offline, could we see people defecting from PES to FIFA to fulfil EA’s vision of 11-a-side online play? Maybe we’ll find out with next year’s releases.

There’s a patch for Pro Evo 2008 for both PS3 and the 360. Konami haven’t explained what the updates too but there’s speculation it helps with online and offline jerkiness. So far on my 360 I’ve noticed no change.

Blu-Ray discs are kicking HD DVD’s asses according to their European Committee. They say more than a million films have been sold for its format with a 73 percent share, leaving a piddly 27 percent for HD-DVD. Sales have been bolstered by the PS3 having Blu-ray capability and by the recent releases of 300 and Casino Royale flying off the shelves.
