Prey 2 details announced

Remember the gravity-defying Native American alien mash-up that was Prey? Well, the teaser trailer was shown at E3 in LA and it seems to have absolutely nothing to do with the original. However it still looks very exciting as we see what appears to be a human bounty hunter capturing one of his prey (aaah, I see what they did there) and having an order to kill another. We’re already loving the look, the gadgets and weaponry and the Wild West soundtrack. It’s being developed by Human Head Studios and Prey 2 release date should be some time in 2012....

Might and Magic Heroes 6 beta

Ubisoft have announced the beta for their upcoming PC fantasy RPG, Might and Magic Heroes 6. Pre-order the game and you’ll be able to get online and try it out from the 28th June 2011. Up for grabs are 3 huge solo maps and one multiplayer map called Broken Alliance where you’ll be able to try out the improved combat mechanics, tweaked RPG elements and a completely revamped resource management system. It seems THQ have gone a bit bonkers when it comes to their upcoming Mars mash-up Red Faction Armageddon. Because over 1 million people downloaded the demo, when you complete the game you’ll now have access to Mr Toots, a playable weapon that’s basically a cuddly unicorn that fires beams of shining light out of its bottom! Nintendo 3DS Christmas Games for 2011

Despite the Nintendo 3DS having a slower start than expected, Ubisoft are predicting Christmas 2011 will see it flourish. Ubisoft have already released launch titles for the game including remakes of their Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell and Rayman titles and their UK boss Rob Cooper has been quoted saying Ubisoft are a big supporter of the handheld. Dragons Dogma gameplay trailer

A new Dragons Dogma gameplay trailer has been released for Capcom’s forthcoming title Dragon’s Dogma. The first part shows people getting a bit hot under the collar but then it shows your team fighting a massive griffin! It seems like you can grab onto the beast Shadow of the Colossus style as you attempt to take it down. Assassins Creed Revelations details emerge

New details have been revealed about Assassin’s Creed Revelations, the 3rd in the trilogy of Ezio’s adventures in Italy. This time he’s older and wiser when he goes on a journey to retrieve five ancient seals in Constantinople that hold the key to the future of the Assassins brotherhood. Ezio will have new weapons and enhanced eagle vision and you’ll also be able to play as Altair from the first game.
