We’re cautiously excited about PlayStation Move, it’s clear that Nintendo made some correct moves when developing the Wii but they did cheap out on inaccurate and low quality tech. After four years of studying the success (and anti-climax) of Wii; Sony went to their drawing board with the goal of improving motion control and bringing it to their core PlayStation 3 audience. Recently we reviewed Blacklight Tango Down which we found to be decent first person shooter that was heavily inspired by Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Developers UTV Ignition next project is a fun looking strategy game called Swarm. Swarm for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 looks a lot like Pikmin; the Nintendo created real time strategy game which appeared on GameCube and Wii. EA Sports Active 2 for the Xbox 360 and PS3

You’ve got to give credit where credit is due. The boffins at Nintendo managed to upgrade an ordinary set of bathroom scales into an interactive piece of hardware. So after upgrading the scales with extra sensors and Bluetooth; next came the Wii Fit software which brought home exercise and yoga moves to Wii users. To cut a long story short, Wii Fit sold millions of units, millions and millions. So many millions that other publishers jumped on the bandwagon right away to develop their own Wii Fitness titles.
