New FIFA 13 features announced

EA Sports have announced the latest set of features to grace FIFA 13. All-new attacking intelligence is the buzz word this time around with attackers able to make curved runs to beat the off-side trap, pull defenders out of position and better position themselves for new attacking possibilities. The Player Impact Engine’s also being tweaked so hopefully players won’t hump each other on the floor any more. Play Silent Hunter Online online

Ubisoft will be releasing a new free-to-play instalment in their submarine series Silent Hunter. Silent Hunter Online will let you creep up on unsuspecting ships with and against friends online and can be played in a browser. It will use Adobe Flash Player and be in full 3D as well. You can get early access to the game by visiting www.silenthunteronline.com and applying to be part of the closed beta right now.

Touching Mileena in Mortal Kombat for the PlayStation Vita

Warner Bros. have released this full live action trailer to highlight Mortal Kombat contestant Mileena in their new game for the PS Vita in stores on May 4th. The game features an all-new Challenge Tower mode with 150 brand new missions which includes Touchscreen Fatalities, X-Ray moves and more. There’s no word as to whether the touch screen can be used for feeling other things – if you get my drift. Max Payne 3 multiplayer video

A new video’s come to light showing off the multiplayer fun to be had with Rockstar’s Max Payne 3 video game. The game introduces the concept of Bullet Time to multiplayer for the first time and has the mode Gang Wars which uses story-based rounds of matches using warring factions from the single player game and Payne Killer where players take on the role of Max Payne and his partner Raul Passos in a blend of co-op and competitive play. Sony Orbis specs

Rumours abound that the next Sony console will be called the Orbis, will be out in 2013 and will contain measures to stop people playing pre-owned games! It also apparently won’t offer any backwards compatibility with PS3 software and games will be locked to your PSN account. Games should look pretty tasty though with a resolution of 4096×2160 and the ability to play 3D games in 1080p – if you’re into wearing dark glasses indoors.
