Following the trend of a lot of recent MMORPGs, Rift is the next MMO to lower its subscription prices in order to keep current gamers in the fantasy RPG world and also attract new players to its servers. If you’re looking forward to the reboot of the 90’s sci-fi shooter XCOM coming out this year then I’m sorry to say it’s coming out in 2013. So if all the soothsayers out there are correct you won’t be able to play it because the world’s going to end before then. Star Wars: The Old Republic is pleasing fans online at the moment who are into that whole MMO thing with over 800,000 people creating their versions of Sith Warriors and Jedi Knights. BioWare have just released a patch which fixes some gameplay issues including a fix to the cover mechanic and the Sith Corruption Toggle and also one that stops the Bounty Hunter class story being completed in certain circumstances. Despite being an obvious GTA rip-off, I actually quite enjoyed the first Saints Row game and the second one passed me by when I wasn’t sent it for review a couple of years ago.
