LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens

LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens Release Date

Warner Bros, The Lego Group and Lucasfilm have just announced LEGO Star Wars: the Force Awakens. Yes it’s a bit of a mouthful but this new game in the massive LEGO franchise will let gamers play through key moments of the movie with the little plastic figures on a console instead of with the sort of stuff you’d but in a shop. Expect to control all the main characters from the game such as Rey, Chewie, Han Solo, Finn, Poe and BB8 and also don’t be surprised if you even get to fly the Millennium Falcon about as well! There...

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India review

The Assassin’s Creed Chronicles games are a spin-off series to the yearly AAA games on consoles and PC and as such, offer gameplay in the same world and with similar themes, only in a 2.5D viewpoint where you sneak and kill your way through the levels collecting things around the Animus and playing through the story. India is the next game in the Chronicles series after China and you play as master assassin Arbaaz Mir in 1841 during a rivalry between the Sikh Empire and the East India Company. Of course there is Templar involvement in the mix as well...

Best Games of 2015

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and it’s also that time again when I run down my favourite games of 2015 so here goes: 5. Batman: Arkham Knight At number five it’s Batman: Arkham Knight. Although Batman does, frankly, look like a bit of a tool, Rocksteady Games do know how to make a great game and this one has notes of horror in there as well! Killing the Joker off in Arkham City was probably the best thing they did in the franchise and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, play it and you’ll see...

Rise of the Tomb Raider review

Rise of the Tomb Raider review

Rise of the Tomb Raider is the sequel to the reboot that came to Xbox 360, PC and PS3 a couple of years ago and was then re-released on Xbox One as a definitive edition. If you managed to nab that for free recently on Games with Gold you’ll know it was pretty good and you may be hankering to play with Lara now she’s toughened up a bit. This game sees Lara after a hidden source that grants eternal life before some other bad people get their hands on it. Okay the story isn’t exactly something we haven’t seen...

Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six Siege review

Rainbow Six Siege is the second game I’ve played in a month that doesn’t have a campaign but instead lets you train in a variety of single player situations where you can hone your skills and learn about everything you can do, and then jump into multiplayer to try and win the day and beat a team of randoms. Loading the game up for the first time is a treat, as you’re welcomed by one of the best looking intros you’ll see in a game so far. It’s very realistic, with full performance capture of the lady who’s briefing you...
