Witcher 3

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt review

We’ve seen Geralt The Witcher in two previous Witcher games but, whilst they’ve appealed to an RPG audience, they’ve never really broken into the mainstream. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt promises to break that mould and appeal to gamers that not only specialise in fantasy romps (and believe me, there are a lot of them here in many different guises), but also to gamers that love a good story and narrative in a game as well. This game is absolutely massive and I’ve already heard stories that if you want to do everything in the game you could spend 200...

Need for Speed 2015 reboot screenshots and trailer

The latest Need for Speed has been announced and it’s basically Need for Speed Underground 2 but just titled Need for Speed to give the game the feel of a complete reboot. Back are deep customisation that is not only cosmetic but also effects performance, as well as an open world to explore and a full narrative set in an urban world of car culture. Ghost Games, the guys who made the last game in the franchise are yet again making this one and we’re sure there will be more to see of this game in a couple of weeks...

Assassins Creed Syndicate

Assassins Creed Syndicate release date and screenshots

Ubisoft have just announced their brand new game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, this time called Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. This latest game is set in 1868 during the Industrial Revolution as you roam the streets of Victorian London as either Jacob or Evie Frye, which you can switch to at any time as you explore the open city. The story from inside the Animus sees the twins head into town from Crawley as they get to work starting an uprising against the big men of course secretly run by the Templars. Quite how the Apple of Eden, Minerva and all...

Wolfenstein The Old Blood

Wolfenstein The Old Blood review

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a prequel to The New Order and sees our hero BJ fighting the Nazi cause over two parts and 8 chapters, originally designed to be DLC for the main game. This is now a piece of standalone content which means you don’t actually need the main game to play it and because it’s a prequel, you don’t even need to catch up on the story. The first four chapters see you infiltrating Castle Wolfenstein to retrieve an important document that points towards Deathshead’s stronghold you’ll be going after in The New Order. Things don’t quite...

State of Decay

State of Decay Year-One Survival Edition review

Zombies again. Will we ever get bored of them? If you’re not yet sated for shuffling nasties that want to eat you, State of Decay on the Xbox One may be worth ago. If you missed it the first time around on the Xbox 360, this version includes both the DLC packs and apparently updated graphics, although it does look very dated indeed. You start the game being attacked by zombies as you beat them down and find your way to relative safety and are then introduced to the mechanic of finding a vantage point to scout around your location...
