Sam and Max Tomb of Sammun Mak

Sam and Max Tomb of Sammun Mak review

I can’t believe it. As soon as I finish reviewing episode one of The Devils Playhouse, episode two arrives – you’d think this was a monthly episodic adventure. Oh wait it is, brilliant. Due to the nature of this episodic series you will undoubtedly find spoilers for the previous episode here, you have been warned! To keep things short I won’t go into depth about Sam and Max yet again because you must already know about them by now right? Listen all you need to know is that you’re in-store for another dose of twisted humour and mind bending puzzles...

Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands

Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands review

A couple of years ago the Prince of Persia series had a bit of a reboot with a new cel-shaded look, a wise-cracking prince and a sidekick which meant you could never really die if you fell to your doom. To be honest, unlike that very sidekick, it didn’t really grab me and what I wished for was a return to the fantastic form of the original ‘remake’ of the game ‘The Sands of Time’. Thankfully Ubisoft have listened to the fans and made a next-gen game that mostly brings back the magic of the PS2 game. The Forgotten Sands...

Ghost Recon Future Soldier

Ghost Recon Future Soldier release date

Ubisoft’s reboot of the Ghost Recon games has been delayed until the final quarter of 2011 – Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier Release Date is October 30th 2011. This may also delay the multiplayer beta that shipped with Splinter Cell Conviction. I don’t mind it slipping – but it better be good! Hot from E3 is the news that Ghost Recon Future Soldier will use Xbox Kinect heavily for some seriously intensive usage. If you thought Kinect was just about party games, perhaps it’s time to think again. So far we’ve seen real-time Kinect footage showing how you can...

Lead and Gold

Lead and Gold review

If you were to ask me which movie genres didn’t tickle my special zones then I’d probably answer you with Romance and Westerns. Now if I were tied to a flaming stake and forced to choose between Gone with the Wind or The Good, The Bad and The Ugly then I would probably side with Clint Eastwood. As you may be able to guess from title, Lead and Gold for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC is not a romantic game but instead a western inspired shooter. Let’s find out more about it in this Lead and Gold PS3 review right...

FIFA World Cup 2010

FIFA World Cup 2010 review

It’s easy to be cynical every other year when EA bring out a FIFA game based around international soccer competitions and it’s also easy to see why. There are less teams to play as, the game usually feels a bit stripped down to the bare bones and once the tournament is over you probably won’t pick the game up again. Having said that, this latest World Cup game is very much fun to play thanks to some new game modes and some tweaks to gameplay and graphics which show where the game will be heading when FIFA 2011 comes out....

Sam and Max in The Devils Playhouse

Sam and Max in The Devils Playhouse review

Furry freelance police they may be but Sam and Max are back with another five episodes of comic mischief and crime solving shenanigans. Let’s not beat around the bush any longer when there is a Sam and Max review just around the corner. I’d have thought if you were here then Sam and Max would need no introduction. However to recap for those not paying attention before, Sam and Max are of course the infamous Dog and Rabbit detective duo that regularly save the world whilst cracking jokes. Fresh from their trip down to hell at the end of Sam...
