Worldwide a new football season is just kicking off and Electronic Arts are putting the finishing touches to this year’s Fifa game. Details about FIFA 11 have arrived. There’s not much to go on but the EA Sports team are saying even passing won’t just be a case of tapping a button and they’ll adopt the penalty system from the World Cup game. Shattered Memories isn’t so much a remake of the original PSOne game but a re-imagining of the story. Ice Hockey’s a funny old game. Not content with playing normal hockey on a field with a ball, these guys like to slide about the ice and try to slam a puck into the net and of course have a good old scrap halfway through the game and end up in the sin bin. In my head, Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank are pretty interchangeable. They both feature a main character with big ears with a funny sidekick that rides around on his back.
