I can’t believe that Final Fantasy 14 is upon us already. Didn’t Final Fantasy 13 just come out? Yes it’s true but this time Final Fantasy XIV is a MMORPG (like World of Warcraft) instead of a single player adventure. You’ve got to give credit where credit is due. The boffins at Nintendo managed to upgrade an ordinary set of bathroom scales into an interactive piece of hardware. So after upgrading the scales with extra sensors and Bluetooth; next came the Wii Fit software which brought home exercise and yoga moves to Wii users. It can’t go without saying that even after three years; Portal remains one of my favourite games of all time. It is certainly a strange to look back at how the free bonus game included in The Orange Box went on to become Game of the Year.
