Tom Clancys HAWX review

Tom Clancy games have seen us doing a number of different things over the years. We’ve sneaked around as Sam Fisher, infiltrated urban environments in the Middle East in Ghost Recon and had shoot-outs in casinos in Rainbow Six Vegas. HAWX takes the franchise into the skies as you pull some serious Gs for a company called Artemis in 2014. Of course, during the game it turns out Artemis have greedy plans of their own so you and some of your wingmen turn the tables on them and end up fighting the company that used to pay you big bucks....

X Blades review

If you thought Lara Croft didn’t wear much, just wait ‘til you play X-Blades. In the game you play as a character called Ayumi, a blonde, lithe little lady who collects treasure in all her manga glory. One day she stumbles across half an artefact and, when trading a crystal skull in a shop, accidentally finds the other half. They join together and spin around like something out of Hellraiser and out come lots of nasty evil things. She defeats them and then the artefact turns into a map, so she goes on a quest to find more treasure which...

Killzone 2 sales figures

Killzone 2’s been out a week and already it’s Sony’s 4th best-selling game ever. It doesn’t quite beat the PS3 record set by Gran Turismo Prologue but it’s Sony’s first all-formats chart topper since God of War 2 in April 2007. Well done Sony!
