Race Driver GRID review

Codemasters know a thing or two about driving games. Already they’ve reinvented their Colin McRae series with DiRT and now they’ve done it again with Race Driver GRID. Of course, this is spiritually the latest TOCA game and you can race touring cars, muscle cars, and Japanese Super Cars around some very good looking tracks around the world. Portal 2

If you enjoyed playing Valve’s funny puzzle game Portal there may be a Portal sequel on its way. An ad went out looking for a voice-over to play a guy called Cave Johnson, some-one who set up the lab in the first place – so we may be looking at a Portal prequel. As soon as I know more – so will you.

Call of Duty 5

First details of Call of Duty 5 have been announced. Unfortunately we’re back in World War 2 but this time in the Pacific with split-screen co-op and online co-op with four players. There will also be some new weapons – but no word yet on the Call of Duty 5 release date. Rock Band review

Resident Evil 5 redesign

According to Capcom, their little redesign of Resident Evil 5 had nothing to do with claims it was a little bit racist. Now there’s a more ethnically diverse gaggle of zombies and an ethnic partner to the main character. They’re still all mindless monsters after your blood though so don’t feel bad about shooting any of them.

The Getaway and Eight Days scrapped

If you were looking forward to playing The Getaway on the PS3 then you can forget it. It looks like the game has got away for good along with another title they were making called Eight Days. They’ve both been scrapped so teams can work on other worthwhile first-party projects. Probably a good thing.
