Sonic and the Black Knight review

If you were a gamer during the 1990’s you can’t have escaped the Mario vs Sonic war that Sega and Nintendo were locked into. Of course Mario and Sonic are best buddies now and their warring ways a well behind them; face it they’re both too old and too busy with new games to star in. Without going into the complete history of Sonic’s demise (that will have to wait for another day) let’s just say that Sega didn’t quite give him the full support he needed when it came to his games on the Saturn and Dreamcast. Snowboard Riot review

When it comes to typical console sports games I usually tend to stick to what I know and love; football and motor racing. Sure I’ve played plenty of others, everything from Jet Skiing to Table Tennis in fact but when it comes down to my own personal relaxation nothing beats a few matches of Fifa or several races in Live For Speed. Madworld review

Taking inspiration from Arnie’s movie The Running Man, top-down arcade shooter Smash TV and the more recent movie Sin City, MadWorld lets you go on a journey of human and mutant destruction in a deadly gameshow called Death Watch. Armed with your fists, a chainsaw and pickups dotted around the town, you must maim and kill in imaginative ways to build up your score multiplier. Once you hit enough points, you can then fight the bosses who are, how shall we say,...

Rabbids Go Home

Rayman’s been ditched by his Rabbids. He’s not mentioned in Rabbids Go Home, coming out at the end of the year on the Wii. Good riddance I say.   Related: Nintendo Wii party games, Rayman Raving Rabbids video

Madworld review

I suppose it would be silly to deny that the Wii hasn’t had quite the same level of adult orientated games as the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. I do think however that the criticism of excessive shovelware has been put onto Wii unfairly. I remember a time when people criticized the Nintendo 64 and GameCube for lack of third party support but now its here on Wii they don’t like it. Could this be because most third party games aren’t first person shooters set on a space station? Personally I don’t think it would matter if GTA5 was a...
