Sonic and the Black Knight review

If you were a gamer during the 1990’s you can’t have escaped the Mario vs Sonic war that Sega and Nintendo were locked into. Of course Mario and Sonic are best buddies now and their warring ways a well behind them; face it they’re both too old and too busy with new games to star in. Wii MotionPlus release date

The Wii MotionPlus has been given a release date of 12th June. The Wii MotionPlus peripheral adds an extra accelerometer to the Wii Remote to make it even more accurate. Titles that will use the new add-on include Sega’s Virtua Tennis 2009 and Tiger Woods’ latest outing. Snowboard Riot review

When it comes to typical console sports games I usually tend to stick to what I know and love; football and motor racing. Sure I’ve played plenty of others, everything from Jet Skiing to Table Tennis in fact but when it comes down to my own personal relaxation nothing beats a few matches of Fifa or several races in Live For Speed. Taking inspiration from Arnie’s movie The Running Man, top-down arcade shooter Smash TV and the more recent movie Sin City, MadWorld lets you go on a journey of human and mutant destruction in a deadly gameshow called Death Watch. Madworld review

I suppose it would be silly to deny that the Wii hasn’t had quite the same level of adult orientated games as the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. I do think however that the criticism of excessive shovelware has been put onto Wii unfairly. I remember a time when people criticized the Nintendo 64 and GameCube for lack of third party support but now its here on Wii they don’t like it.
