Just Dance 3

Last night saw the celeb-studded launch party for Just Dance 3 which took the form of a house party in a large town house in Grosvenor Place. We left the taxi to a blinding flash of photographers who soon stopped taking photos when they didn’t know who we were (teach me to pull up in a cab right outside) and then made our way up the steps into the party. As you’d expect for a dancing game party there was a dance floor and a DJ playing good but deafening tunes and of course consoles set up around the house...

Dead Island review

Last year there was an interesting trailer for Dead Island that caught the attention of gamers worldwide. It showed us a short yet horrifying tale of a family desperately running away from a horde of blood-thirsty zombies. It was a brief, gory and best of all – played backwards. FIFA 12 review

I’ve seen a lot about FIFA 12 in the run up to launch and after playing it at preview events I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Now it’s here and they’ve made quite a few changes. Battlefield 3 Beta review

Battlefield 3 is almost upon us and last week saw the open beta go live. It was downloaded so much it even crashed the Origin servers so you can imagine just how popular and anticipated this CoD rival is. Battlefield 3 criticised by expert as unrealistic

The beta for Battlefield 3 has been criticised online for not being as realistic as it should by someone claiming to be a former SWAT member. He says that the excessive use of lights and lasers on guns would be a ‘death wish’ for the user and torches would only be used temporarily for clearing buildings and lasers are ‘crutches’ for people who can’t shoot. Ghost Recon Future Soldier release date update

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has finally been given a release date by Ubisoft. The new expected date for the game not taking into account further delays will be 6th March in the US and off the back of this, an estimated 9th March release date in Europe. In the game you play as Sergeant John Kozak, the ultimate ‘quiet professional’, as you fight across 8 locales. I just hope one of those is a library.
