The Call of Duty UK Championships were held in London’s Sound nightclub on Sunday 7th August where clans gathered to battle each other on Call of Duty: Black Ops. The eventual winners over the 12 hour event were Team apex and here they are looking happy and hopefully old enough to drink that champagne. There’s no two ways about it, the first half of 2011 has been awful for Wii owners. There have been hardly any games at all, let alone many good ones. Of course Nintendo themselves have been far too distracted with the 3DS to worry about Wii, but that doesn’t explain the lack of third party content. Call of Juarez The Cartel review

The previous Call of Juarez games passed me by but I understand that Call of Juarez: The Cartel takes the Wild West theme and brings it into the modern day with cars instead of horses, hookers instead of whores and big guns as well as six shooters. Cars 2 The Video Game review

Cars 2: The Video Game is of course the game to support the Cars 2 movie sequel. It’s made by Disney Pixar so of course you’d expect the film to be of high quality and appeal to children and adults on different levels. Gotham City Imposters announcement

Warner Bros. Interactive have released a CGI trailer for their upcoming download only multiplayer FPS, Gotham City Imposters. The game gives players the opportunity to go against conformity by customizing their own characters to create their own Bats or Jokerz. Insane costumes, homebrewed gadgets and a wide range of weapons will be the order of the day when the game becomes available early 2012. FEAR 3 review

I really enjoyed the previous F.E.A.R. games. The first two I played when I was into PC games, FEAR Perseus Mandate and then I played FEAR 2 Project Origin on the Xbox 360. The combination of scares and tight shooter gameplay was great, but does this third game in the series keep the mix just right?
