We’ve just seen the first real gameplay footage of Mass Effect 3 at this year’s E3 and it’s looking stunning. We can’t wait to see how the trilogy ends but we know that when it does we’ll instantly be wishing for Mass Effect 4. Still, it’ll be interesting to see how Xbox Kinect and PlayStation Move will be Incorporated into the game. Fingers crossed they won’t add too much Nintendo Wii motion control waggle! At E3 we caught the first glimpses of the much rumoured HD remake of the original Halo. Now known as Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary; this total recreation of the classic XBox and PC game promises to be every fans dream come true. Operation Flashpoint Red River Valley of the Death

Codemasters have announced the first piece of DLC for Operation Flashpoint: Red River. It’s cheerily called the Valley of the Death pack and contains eight new fireteam engagements playable in single player modes and co-op, two combat sweep missions, two new CSAR missions, a couple of new last stand missions and rolling thunder missions. It’s available at the end of the month for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and seems to offer quite a bit of bang for your buck! Metal Gear Solid HD release date

It’s been confirmed by Konami that Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders are getting HD remakes. The MGS collection will be out in November for PS3 and Xbox 360 and will contain high definition re-workings of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and both Zone of the Enders games will be out in 2012. Dead Island Bloodbath Arena

Deep Silver have announced a special pre-order edition of Dead Island for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The special edition will of course include the game and offer the ‘Bloodbath’ Arena DLC for free.
