Risen review

I’ve recently been producing a 24 hour gaming event for the new Dragon Age Origins game. It’s a massive 3rd-person fantasy RPG for PC and consoles so it’s going to be hard for anything to top it. Microsoft bans chipped Xbox 360 from Xbox Live

Thousands of Xbox 360 owners have been banned from Xbox Live for chipping their consoles. Microsoft did a sweep of all machines a few days ago and permanently disabled chipped machines from using the service. Gamers will have to buy a new Xbox 360 if they want to get online again. Tekken 6 review

Tekken and Soul Calibur have always been my fighting games of choice. I even liked Mortal Kombat over Street Fighter in the past so go figure what that says about me. Anyway, Tekken 6 has hit the next-gen systems so does it deliver all that you’d expect? Well, if you want a fighting game which you can pick up and play but also master if you put the effort in with a massive roster of characters to play as then I guess that’s a yes. Up review

I had my first experience of 3D cinema the other day when I watched Up. Once my eyes had adjusted I was initially impressed but then I sort of got used to it. It’s the same with videogames. Next-gen machines come out and everyone goes ‘whooo’ but then the bar has to constantly be raised in order to impress.
