Saints Row Gat out of Hell

Saints Row Gat out of Hell review

Saints Row is mental – and that’s why I like it. What once started out as a bit of a GTA spoof has now become a brand in its own right with each game getting progressively outlandish. So where could the game go after the planet was destroyed and everyone was living inside a computer simulation akin to The Matrix? Well, the answer is hell. In this stand-alone addition to Saints Row 4, the game picks up where the previous game left off with your team and the alien Zinyak having some fun at a birthday party with a Ouija...

Mortal Kombat X release date and trailer

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have released their latest Mortal Kombat X trailer showcasing yet more fighters from what I think could be my new favourite fighting game (my current favourite is the reboot Mortal Kombat which came out around three years ago). The trailer entitled “Who’s Next?” takes a look at some of the characters you can kill with or kill including Kitana, the beautiful but deadly Edenian princess and Kung Lao, the powerful martial artist who could give James Bond’s Oddjob a run for his money with his hat-tricks. And speaking of hats, Raiden is back...

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt release date

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt release date and system requirements

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launches for Spring 2015 and gamers looking forward to this third instalment of the Polish developed RPG are very excited about once again filling the boots of the white-haired hero as they run about the land based on the series of fantasy novels written by Andrej Sapkowski. The good news is that developers CD Projekt Red say you don’t need to have played the previous two games to enjoy Wild Hunt and you should be able to slip straight into Geralt’s shoes without too much trouble in a larger, more challenging, more detailed world. Just...

Resident Evil Revelations 2 release date

Resident Evil Revelations 2 release date

In my opinion, the Resident Evil franchise completely lost its way with Resident Evil 6 on consoles, forgetting that its roots lie in survival instead of all out action and that cheese, in moderation is actually still a good thing. Thankfully, Resident Evil Revelations on the Nintendo 3DS and later released as a special edition on consoles, still kept the good Resi tradition going and, in my mind, is one of the best games yet. Resident Evil Revelations 2 is available on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, Windows and PS Vita as a complete boxed version from 13th March...

Alien Isolation review

I love both gory and spooky horror movies and I’m also a big fan of the Alien movies and H R Giger’s Xenomorph creation. Having endured Sega’s previous AvP games, I was excited to play Alien Isolation, a game that harks back to the roots of the Ridley Scott’s original Alien movie as you helplessly avoid just one alien that will definitely kill you if it spots you hiding in a dark corner. And I haven’t been disappointed as this game is one of the most scary horror games I’ve ever played. In fact, I’d say it’s almost so stressful...
