Gears of War 3 release date

Not only has Microsoft announced the Gears of War 3 release date as the 8th of April 2011 but new details have just come out concerning the Gears of War 3 characters too. Marcus Fenix is going to learn a ‘bittersweet secret about his father’s fate’ and new female character Anya has left her desk job to join the Delta Squad. Apparently she’s a ‘tough, confident fighter ready to tackle anything’. Let’s just hope she doesn’t mind rather large bugs. Related: Gears of War 2 review, Killzone 2 Xbox 360 version

PSP 2 release date

No word yet on a release date yet but rumour has it that the PSP 2 is going to be a powerful monster indeed! It’s all hear’say but we’re getting reports it’s going to have front and back cameras, a touch screen and won’t have any physical media to go into it. It’s also expected to be about half as powerful as the PS3 thanks to its four-core cell CPU. Let’s just hope the battery lasts more than an hour. Alan Wake new release date

Good news if you can’t wait to play Alan Wake, it’s been pushed forward in Europe. It’s now going to arrive on 14th May instead of the 21st. Super Street Fighter IV release date

Last year’s Street Fighter 4 from Capcom was huge hit with the fans and the gaming press, scoring an impressive score of 93 on Metacritic. Despite the many Street Fighter games over the years, Street Fighter II is typically considered the best of the bunch. So when Street Fighter IV was revealed to be pretty much just a 3D remake of Street Fighter 2, understandably most people were happy. Mass Effect 2 expansion pack release date

New DLC is already on its way for Mass Effect 2. From April 9th 2010 gamers will be able to pay for and download a new thief-type character called Kasumi, a new powerful weapon and mission in the form of the ‘Stolen Memory’ pack. Crackdown 2 release date

Crackdown 2’s been given a day of release for Europe and that day is July 9th 2010. The game will let you run around Pacific City in true sandbox co-op mode and apparently it’s going to be a lot of fun. Just make sure you’ve got some friends to play with.
