Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain

Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain release date

Those of you who have played Ground Zeroes over and over again to get to grips with Snake’s latest adventure can now stop playing it now that the release date has been announced for The Phantom Pain. You can play the game from September 1st 2015 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3, and on PC via Steam a couple of weeks later on 15th. The competitive online mode Metal Gear Online will also go live on the same date as well, along with a collector’s edition which comes with loads of goodies including a map, a half-scale replica...

Project CARS release date

The Project CARS release date has shifted to April 2nd 2015. Available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, the game has been delayed slightly in order for the mechanics to do some fine tuning under the bonnet before people get to take it for a full test drive. Head of Studio at Slightly Mad Studios Ian Bell is quoted as saying “Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS, but we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best...

Call of Duty 5

Call of Duty 2015 release date

We may not know what the subtitle of the next Call of Duty game will be but we do know there will of course be another edition of the blockbuster series and it will, as always, probably be released in November. For years Infinity Ward and Treyarch shared the development duties meaning they have only had a two year development cycle each to make the game, but Advanced Warfare being made by Sledgehammer Games means that for the first time Treyarch gets a full three years to develop a game, having previously made Black Ops, Black Ops 2 and World...

Mortal Kombat X release date and trailer

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have released their latest Mortal Kombat X trailer showcasing yet more fighters from what I think could be my new favourite fighting game (my current favourite is the reboot Mortal Kombat which came out around three years ago). The trailer entitled “Who’s Next?” takes a look at some of the characters you can kill with or kill including Kitana, the beautiful but deadly Edenian princess and Kung Lao, the powerful martial artist who could give James Bond’s Oddjob a run for his money with his hat-tricks. And speaking of hats, Raiden is back...

GTA V PC release date

GTA V PC release date delayed

Rockstar Games have announced a new release date for the PC version of GTA 5. The game has been delayed and will now come to PC on 24th March 2015 to give the developers a couple more weeks to test the game and prevent any mishaps of the kind which crippled matchmaking in GTA online on consoles last year. GTA Online for PC will support up to 30 players, will launch alongside GTA 5 for PC and will also feature Online Heists, which is coming to consoles slightly before. This mode will let you play in teams as you take...

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt release date

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt release date and system requirements

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launches for Spring 2015 and gamers looking forward to this third instalment of the Polish developed RPG are very excited about once again filling the boots of the white-haired hero as they run about the land based on the series of fantasy novels written by Andrej Sapkowski. The good news is that developers CD Projekt Red say you don’t need to have played the previous two games to enjoy Wild Hunt and you should be able to slip straight into Geralt’s shoes without too much trouble in a larger, more challenging, more detailed world. Just...
