Ubisoft have just released a video which shows off the weapons lead character Connor will be using in Assassin’s Creed III. As he leaps from tree to tree during the American Revolution he’ll be using dual pistols for medium range attacks, a bow and arrow for silent attacks from long range, his favourite up-close-and-personal tool the hidden blade and a rather cool Tomahawk shaped like the Assassin’s logo! The hype for Resident Evil 6 has begun ten months before the game hits the stores! Adverts have already been seen on TV in the United Kingdom and a lengthy trailer showing the events inside a city from the viewpoint of Leon S. Kennedy is also taking the interweb by storm. XCOM release date delayed

If you’re looking forward to the reboot of the 90’s sci-fi shooter XCOM coming out this year then I’m sorry to say it’s coming out in 2013. So if all the soothsayers out there are correct you won’t be able to play it because the world’s going to end before then. Rocksmith release date

Following the news that music game Rocksmith has been delayed in Europe until some time in 2012, it’s also received a rather mediocre response from gamers in the United States. Ubisoft’s North American executive director Laurent Detoc has said on the matter “As much as gamers claim they want innovation, they don’t.” I have to agree, I still prefer a joypad to any other controller but really want to plug my guitar into my console! I’ve never really been into Rayman, especially since playing the 3D games and getting very frustrated by the usual inherent 3D platforming problems we all know and expect. Ghost Recon Future Soldier release date update

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has finally been given a release date by Ubisoft. The new expected date for the game not taking into account further delays will be 6th March in the US and off the back of this, an estimated 9th March release date in Europe. In the game you play as Sergeant John Kozak, the ultimate ‘quiet professional’, as you fight across 8 locales. I just hope one of those is a library.
