Assassins Creed Brotherhood

2011 BAFTA videogame predictions

The 2011 BAFTA nominations have been announced and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood is the most likely to pick up a gong with seven nominations being up for best game, action and artistic achievement. Other games with multiple nominations include thriller Heavy Rain, God of War 3 and of course Mass Effect 2. Strangely, Red Dead Redemption has only been nominated once in the GAME award of 2010! Playstation Move Controller Attachments

Now deep down inside we all know that the PlayStation Movie controller is a glorified Wii Remote Plus. Just because it has a glowing ping pong ball on the top doesn’t really make that much difference. What most people don’t realise is that the Wii Sensor Bar does pretty much exactly the same job as the glowing ball, just in reverse. When the Wii launched with Wii Sports it didn’t take long for accessory makers to start producing all sorts of attachments for the Wii Remote. First we had the most obvious things such as Tennis Rackets, Guns and Baseball...

The Sims Medieval

The Sims Medieval release date

Wow, it’s almost 11 years since the original SIMS game first hit the PC. Can you remember all the fuss is caused? It felt like the whole world was raving about how fun it was to watch a load of virtual people walk around a virtual house all day. Who’d have thought way back then that the series would grow into a multi-million seller and spawn thousands of sequels? Not me that’s for sure, to this day I’ve still never played any of them, but I did come quite close once. It was way back around 2002 when I decided...

Donkey Kong Country Returns image

Donkey Kong Country Returns review

During the mid to late 90’s the Rare’s Donkey Kong Country series were my favourite games. Intense platforming action combined with graphics and music so awesome that you couldn’t believe they were coming out of a 16Bit Super Nintendo. I could also go as far to say that the original DKC was (and probably still is) my favourite 2D platform game of all time, Super Mario purists may scoff but there’s something I really like about the British take on the platform genre. In my opinion Rare were very innovate in bringing prerendered graphics to the SNES and they also...
