It’s been confirmed that Metal Gear Solid: Rising isn’t actually a spin-off but is going to be a series on its own. Featuring the not-so-loved Raiden from MGS2 and 4, the release date of the first game in this series is September 24th 2010. The release date has been confirmed for Dead Rising 2. It’ll be shuffling onto the store shelves on October 1st 2010 in Europe and introduces new character Chuck Greene as he tries to survive in Fortune City. The game delivers thousands more zombies and even more ways to defeat them over a period of 72 hours. It seems as though the England team have been getting into the fighting spirit by playing videogames in their team camp whilst Fabio Capello keeps them locked away in the wilderness. THQ already knew a lot of the players were fans of the original game so they’ve shipped out a few copies of Ultimate Fighting Championship UFC Undisputed 2010 for them to have a play with. Nothing before Konami’s Dance Dance Revolution made the idea of dancing in front of your TV a trendy thing to do. Thirteen years later Dance Central from the creators of Rock Band appears to be a key Microsoft Kinect title, looking to be great game for casual players with little or no dancing experience up all the way to real dance fans. Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference not only revealed to us the Xbox 360 Slim but also the new name for Project Natal; newly dubbed Microsoft Kinect. It doesn’t matter how good the technology is, and believe me the Xbox 360 Kinect technology is very cool, without decent software the device has no hope. At this year’s E3 we got a much better look at Call of Duty Black Ops, the latest in the COD series from Treyarch. The exclusive demo at Microsoft’s press conference started out with a Vietnam jungle firefight with the objective of stealing a helicopter which was then quickly used to travel down river taking out bridges and countless other baddies.
