Battlefield 3 sales figures

Battlefield 3 has become the fastest-selling game in EA’s history. It sold more than 5 million copies in its first weekend on sale. Executive VP of EA Games Patrick Soderlund was rather happy, stating “From Tokyo to Los Angeles, Sydney to London, millions of fans have been playing all weekend long – we are overwhelmed by the global response to Battlefield 3.” Isn’t it nice to know most people spent last weekend shooting each other? Battlefield 3 review

So here it is. After months of hype Battlefield 3 finally comes to consoles and PC and delivers sandbox multiplayer battles in abundance. The Battlefield games have always been first-and-foremost about playing with and against real people but this time they’ve included a fully fleshed out single player campaign as well that’s bound to draw comparisons with the Call of Duty franchise. Battlefield 3 Beta review

Battlefield 3 is almost upon us and last week saw the open beta go live. It was downloaded so much it even crashed the Origin servers so you can imagine just how popular and anticipated this CoD rival is. Battlefield 3 criticised by expert as unrealistic

The beta for Battlefield 3 has been criticised online for not being as realistic as it should by someone claiming to be a former SWAT member. He says that the excessive use of lights and lasers on guns would be a ‘death wish’ for the user and torches would only be used temporarily for clearing buildings and lasers are ‘crutches’ for people who can’t shoot. Battlefield 3 release date

The guys from DICE showed off their 64-player multiplayer mode of Battlefield 3 on PC at Gamescom with the result being a 10 hour queue of gamers waiting to try it out for just 15 minutes! Gamers could fight as infantry, in vehicles and also in helicopters and in jets and as you can see, the graphics make your eyes bleed.
