Wii Fifa 08 Review

As always EA Sports once again come up trumps in terms of style and presentation, but does the Fifa 08 game successfully glide over to the Wii and play a smooth and free flowing game of football? First impressions of the Fifa 08 Wii version are really good, the menu system and interface are all slick and smooth. I thought I’d start off with an online game rather than playing the CPU and I was nicely surprised to see the Wi-Fi setup worked first time with no hassle. Fifa Street 3 review

So another year brings another sequel to one of EA’s sports brands. Fifa Street 3 is the latest on offer from EA Sports BIG after a 2 year holiday and this means it’s a sports game with an arcade twist, an exaggerated artistic slant and a cool soundtrack to make the sport bigger and better than normal ‘soccer’. Maybe we’ll find out with next year’s releases.

Fifa 08 review

So another year comes along and Electronic Arts release another version of their long-running football game with next year’s 08 stamped on the front. This being the first proper game for the next-gen consoles, it should be better, but is it? Well I’m about to tell you. To be honest, the main game feels very similar to Fifa 2007 in the way it plays. The menus are almost identical, the nice touch at the start screen where you get to have a bit of a kick about with Ronaldinho’s still there, and picking up and playing the actual game proper...
