If you’ve still got an axe to grind and you’re a fan of the wrinkly rockers from Boston then you could do worse than check out Guitar Hero Aerosmith. With about 40 songs, interviews with the band and of course models of them prancing around on the stage it’s a fan’s dream. Using the Wii Guitar Hero controller with Rock Band

We’ve had an email from someone who wants to know if it’s possible to use a Guitar Hero guitar with Rock Band for the Wii. The bad news is that you can’t, which is a shame because we know you can with the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. If cross-compatibility is critical then the most suitable 3rd party controller we’ve looked at is the $69.99 ezJam Wireless Guitar which works across the board with all titles. Free Guitar Hero III tunes

Geeks and Rockers have a big reason to celebrate today, Blizzard (the guys behind World of Warcraft) are teaming up with Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock to bring you free downloadable content in the form of a thrash metal track called “I am Murloc”. Guitar Hero III record breaker

Guitar Hero III’s in the Guinness Book of Records for having the largest audience for a videogame performance. 9,6000 people watched the game at a festival in Earl’s Court smashing the record of 3,000 set last year at Donnington.

Guitar Hero goes on tour on DS

Got new news on Guitar Hero for the ever-better DS. Apparently the game will deliver a unique Guitar Hero experience by challenging handheld gamers to rock out and prove their shredding skills on the most diverse set list of master tracks ever offered in a Guitar Hero game, including classic rock, alternative and pop favorites such as Nirvana, OK Go and No Doubt. Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock review
