New Halo 3 maps

Master Chief fans after new maps on Halo 3 will be really pleased to know that Microsoft and Bungie have spilled the beans on three new maps for Halo 3 heading to Xbox Live. The halo 3 upcoming maps are lovingly titled ‘The Legendary Map Pack‘ and we are told the Halo 3 new maps have a release date of April the 15th, costing just 800 points. This first map is called Ghost Town and is a battle-scarred maze of narrow passages and dangerous ruins outside the once-prosperous city of Voi. Map two is a remake of the classic Sidewinder...

Halo 3 review

Let’s just come out with it, I’ve never been a massive fan of the Halo games. Call me ill, mental, or not a proper gamer, call me anything you like, but they just don’t do it for me. My main problem with the first game was that the guns didn’t feel meaty enough, the aliens weren’t scary and there was no sense of urgency. So much was that problem I didn’t even play the second one. A few years on and I’m approaching this one without listening to the hype and trying not to prejudice it with what I thought...

Halo 3 sales figures

Been playing Halo 3? Soon you’ll hear what I thought of it but just so you know, it’s the second fastest selling game ever after GTA San Andreas and it’s straight in at number one with 460,000 copies being sold in the UK alone.

Halo 3 release date

If you just can’t wait until next Friday to play Halo 3, don’t worry, the street date has already been broken by some naughty retailers. Argos has already started selling the game a week early. Now whether Microsoft have told them off yet and told them to stop it I don’t know but, if you fancy playing with Master Chief early, try popping down there if you can stand thumbing through those horrid catalogues and waiting for the computerised lady to call out your name.

Halo 3 early release

A boxed copy of Halo 3 has gone on sale in Australia and sold for about 70 quid. There’s pictures and everything of it so either someone at Microsoft, a warehouse or Bungie has nicked one and has decided to flog it. Oohhh there’ll be trouble!

Halo 3 Epsilon

It seems another Halo 3 Beta test is underway but only in secret if you’re invited to be part of the exclusive member trying it out. Sound like the Freemasons. Xbox Live players have reported seeing other players indulging in a bit of Halo 3 Epsilon. An anonymous email has also confirmed that Epsilon is a new build of the beta complete campaign mode to try out. Are you jealous yet, are you, are you?
