Hellboy Science of Evil

Hellboy Science of Evil review

The first Hellboy movie was an enjoyable romp although I did nod off for a couple of minutes towards the end. I’m also looking forward to watching the sequel directed by Guillermo Del Toro. This game takes artistic direction from the Italian director and also features the voice of Ron Perlman as you fight the forces of evil over a few long levels. It’s your standard third-person action adventure. You explore graveyards, forests and the likes, beating up lots of mythical creatures on the way. Lizard men, Werewolves and other ghostly beings all make an appearance as you hammer buttons...

The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian

The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian review

We all know Traveller’s Tales are very good at making whacky games like Crash Bandicoot, Lego Star Wars and recently Lego Indiana Jones – with Prince Caspian they’ve had to reign the sillyness in to make a game that’s got very similar mechanics to the drop in-drop out gameplay of Lego games but also something with the epic feel of the movie. If you haven’t seen it, the foppish Prince Caspian is helped by the Pevensie family and a menagerie of beasts to save the kingdom from the rule of the evil King Miraz. Cue some fairly long levels set...

The Incredible Hulk image

The Incredible Hulk review

I haven’t seen the new The Incredible Hulk movie, partly due to the fact that I found the Ang Lee one really boring and partly because I’m not sure why we need another movie. Well, another film means another official videogame – but what is there to do with the big green bogeyman that hasn’t already been done? Once again this game puts you in a free environment similar to the Ultimate Destruction game. This time you’re in the Big Apple as you play loosely through the plot of the movie and do lots of other missions along the way....

G Force

Ratatouille review

First up a kid’s game which may appeal to adults too, just like Disney Pixar films do. This one’s Ratatouille for the Wii and it’s really not that bad for a film license aimed at younger gamers. The game follow the plot of the film quite closely. You play a rat called Remi who gets separated form his family, makes his way through the sewers and pops up in a gourmet restaurant in Paris. That’s quite lucky really as he’s a rat with taste who knows how to cook. He then befriends a skivvy in the kitchen, helps him make...
