It seems like the pirates are at it again – Resident Evil 5 has ended up on the internet already, a week before its release on 13th March. Apparently it’s an Xbox 360 US version which seems to be region free. If this is true, Capcom won’t be happy. By the way, don’t you think of downloading it or you may just get a T-Virus. If you thought Capcom were going to give us two control schemes to suit our tastes in Resident Evil 5, think again. It’s been confirmed the control scheme you use in the demo is the only way to play. Resident Evil 4 review

Resident Evil 4 was first released for the Nintendo GameCube back in 2005, then later on the PlayStation 2 and PC. Both the latter versions included a bonus mission and bonus weapon but fortunately weren’t really worth shouting about. Even without these extra’s the GameCube version was generally accepted to be the best because of its faster loading times (even though it came on two discs as opposed to the single PS2 disc) and better joypad controls. Fast forward a few years and as a warm up exercise to Resident Evil 5, Capcom have decided to rerelease Resident Evil 4...

Another new trailer from Capcom’s upcoming Resident Evil 5 has surfaced and the game is looking as good as ever. We still think it’s not a radical step up from Resident Evil 4 but as that was such a great game, we’re not too bothered. Related: Dead Rising Wii, Capcom Comics

Resident Evil 5 redesign

According to Capcom, their little redesign of Resident Evil 5 had nothing to do with claims it was a little bit racist. Now there’s a more ethnically diverse gaggle of zombies and an ethnic partner to the main character. They’re still all mindless monsters after your blood though so don’t feel bad about shooting any of them.
