Resident Evil 4 fans who own an Xbox 360 or PS3 can maybe expect to play another version, the Resident Evil Classic Edition in next-gen glory. Already out on many formats, this one would please anyone who hasn’t yet tried it or wants to play it in HD – that is IF it actually sees the light of day before Resident Evil 5.
Famitsu magazine in Japan has revealed that Resident Evil Zero is getting a port for the Wii. Originally a game for the GameCube and recently surfacing again in Umbrella Chronicles, the game will make full use of the Wii’s unique controls to try and follow in the footsteps of the very successful Resident Evil 4. Hold your breath though, the game may be coming to Japan but may never make it to the West. Watch this space.
So we’re well into the naughties and the Resident Evil treadmill keeps on turning like a zombie which just won’t die, this time in the form of Umbrella Chronicles – a lightgun game using the point and shoot capabilities of the Wii remote with no sign of Rhianna anywhere.
