ColorZ

ColorZ review

From the developers of I-Fluid; probably one of the best looking PC games I’ve ever played comes a brand new title called ColorZ for Wii. ColorZ is a WiiWare title that costs just 700 points so let’s see if it’s worth the virtual currency in my review of ColorZ for Wii. It’s a sad thing to hear that WiiWare hasn’t really taken off as greatly as predicted; perhaps it’s because the Wii’s storage options have been given a bad name or that most titles on WiiWare are somewhat overpriced. For whatever reason the lack of interest in WiiWare shows a...

Klonoa

Klonoa release date

No your eyes aren’t deceiving you, we really do have official confirmation that the remake of the classic PS1 game Klonoa is coming to North America and Europe this year. Originally believed to be a Japan only release we’re really pleased that the Wiimake is hitting western shores because most people missed this cult 2.5D side scrolling platform game the first time around. Featuring totally revamped graphics to utilize the extra power of Wii along with added motion control support for casual gamers and Classic/GameCube pad support for core retro lovers. If you’ve played Lost Winds on WiiWare then you’ll...

Draglade review

We got hold of Draglade for the Nintendo DS recently but with so many other top games coming out this spring it was unfairly put on the back burner. However with this month’s pre E3 game drought we had a bit of time to see what it had to offer, so here just for you is our review of Draglade. Developed by Dimps, the team behind Sonic Rush and co developers of Street Fighter IV, Draglade for DS (or Kasutamu Bito Batoru Doragureido as it’s known as in Japan) is a side scrolling fighting game that uses music beats along...

Wario Land Shake It image

Wario Land Shake It!

Nintendo’s evil mascot Wario returns for another 2D side scrolling adventure on Wii. Wario Land Shake It is a breath of old school fresh air, take your Wii Remote and play NES style as you smash around the levels bopping enemies and loot treasure by shaking the Wiimote up and down to cause earthquakes and other havoc across the entire screen. The graphics are looking nice and with 2D not being too taking on the Wii hardware you can expect a super smooth framerate and plenty of action on-screen. I’ll certainly be fighting Matt for the review disc when it...

Golden Axe Beast Rider

Guilty Gear Judgement review

Todays review is Guilty Gear Judgement on the PSP and this one’s special because you actually get two games in one. You get the new side-scrolling Judgement game but also Guilty Gear X2 Reload which is your more traditional 2D one-on-one beat’em up. Let’s tackle judgement first. If you’ve ever played Final Fight, Double Dragon or Golden Axe you’ll know what to expect. You pick one of five characters from the Guity Gear universe and fight from left to right, with lots of enemies attacking you at once. Clear the screen and you’re told to GO to your right and...
