Nintendo struck an early blow to Microsoft big day on Monday by announcing Wii MotionPlus, as small add-on for the Wii Remote which contains a motion gyroscope, this combined with the accelerometers already inside the controller promise to upgrade the current Wii Motion controls to 1:1.
