Sony of America has just spewed out some great new details about Gran Turismo 5 Prologue features for the Playstation 3. I love a range of cars to drive and with over 60 to choose from including; the awesome Ferrari 599 and the Nissan GT-R, I’m already getting excited about this game.
Although there are only currently six tracks announced, they are said to be ‘meticulously rendered’ (Mmmm).
So with ultra realistic real life tracks such as the Daytona International Speedway, it looks as if it’s going to be a case of quality over quantity this time around.
What I’m most looking forward to is the 16 player online racing, in depth car tuning and full Dualshock 3 joypad functionality, meaning you can steer using the tilt sensors and the pad will rumble when you drive over the gravel or crash into the wall (not that I’ll ever crash of course, I’m great at racing games).
Having seen the gorgeous Gran Turismo 5 trailers online I can tell you that the graphics are so realistic that I honestly did think I was watching a tv broadcast.
No confirmed Gran Turismo 5 release date yet folks, but it’s looking likely for a Q4 2008 release worldwide.
