I can’t believe it’s been almost nine months since the release of the Wii MotionPlus add-on for the Wii Remote. Since then only a handful of games have actually used the Wii Accessory; most notably Tiger Woods PGA 10 and Wii Sports Resort. Now with Red Steel 2; sequel to the best best-selling original Wii game within reach, perhaps we’ll finally see what Motion Control on Wii can really be like.
The Red Steel 2 release date is March 23rd and if you own a Wii then this is the must have title to own before the upcoming Metroid and Mario games. Unlike the original; Red Steel 2 for Wii is no longer set in Japan, instead you’re thrown into a futuristic Wild West setting. It’s still a first person action game and yes you’re equipped with your trusty pistol and a whacking great sword.
