After years of waiting for Club Nintendo USA, American and Canadians can finally get rewards by exchanging coins earned when buying officially published Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS hardware, software and games. Wii games such as Mario Kart and Super Mario Galaxy will earn you 50 coins and DS hits like Nintendogs and Animal Crossing will earn 30 Coins each. Nintendo have apologised for the lack of hardcore games available on the Wii. Core gamers were waiting to hear details of new Mario and Zelda titles only to get news on Animal Crossing, Wii Sports Resort and Wii Music. They say it’s a “misunderstanding”. Nintendo have been kind enough to supply us with their release dates for the rest of the year, sadly though it doesn’t contain the details of their top secret games that are to be revealed at E3 but it’s a start.
