PlayStation Vita release date

Sony have announced a release date for their next-gen handheld console and given it a new official name. The NGP is now called PlayStation Vita and will launch this Christmas as Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi and 3G versions. AT&T will be the exclusive carrier for the latter model in the US with global carriers to probably be announced at Gamescom this August. Sony Ericsson Zues Z1 PSP phone

It’s rumoured the Sony PSP mobile phone is to be released in April. Sony Ericsson are said to be making it and supposedly it looks sort of like a PSP Go! To keep up with Apple, Sony may be implementing cell phone technology into the PSP. Separate to the PSP GO, the new device may not even have the PSP brand but should feature games and movies available on disc and the ability to send SMSs and make calls.
