Hudson has finally told us about their promised Bomberman game for WiiWare. Bomberman Blast for Wii is what every fan has been waiting for, a full online multiplayer game that doesn’t include a single player Bomberman adventure mode which is usually quite pants. Here are the reasons why Bomberman for Wii will be totally ace:
- 8 player Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection online battle mode
- Up to 4 players on a single Wii can go online at any one time
- Online leaderboards
- Use classic Bomberman characters or your Mii’s
- Regular online tournaments
We’re really looking forward to Bomberman Blast for WiiWare, the prospect of 8 player online battles is just a dream come true, fingers crossed it will be lag free! The Mii support is pretty nifty too, we love using our cute little avatars whenever we can – you know…this could be the best Bomberman experience to date! We don’t have a Bomberman Blast release date yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we do.
