Microsoft E3 highlights
Microsoft had a few massive things to say, the main thing being Project Natal, a complete motion and voice capture system that lets you play games and interact without a controller. The trailer showed driving games, skating, quiz games using hands as buzzers, facial capture, voice recognition and even the ability to scan objects into the game.
Other big titles for the 360 included Halo 3 ODST, Halo Rising, Left 4 Dead 2, Forza Motorsport 3 and The Beatles Rockband .
It seems the new Metal Gear Solid: Rising game will be on the Xbox 360, PS3 and possibly PC and will feature Raiden in his cyborg ninja outfit. The teaser didn’t really tell us anything else.
Alan Wake caught my eye, the story of a novelist who goes to a creepy town to rid himself of writers block but ends up living out a novel he doesn’t remember writing when his missus goes missing.
Assassins Creed 2 looks awesome. Although the trailer doesn’t show gameplay, it sets the scene very well as a nobleman has his throat cut in the middle of a masquerade ball.
