LocoRoco’s back and the good news is it’s got just the same charm and simple but fun gameplay as the last one, with a few new ideas chucked in for good measure to mix things up again. I first heard about Patapon at a Pro Evolution Soccer event when I was talking to a lovely lady called Carly from Sony PR. She said this was the next game on its was and I had to double-take. Patawhat? I said. She said it was hard to explain and now I see why. Basically it’s a game in the same vein as LocoRoco, although it’s a rhythm-based strategy game. Buu Buu Cocoreccho

Sony have announced a version of LocoRoco is coming to the PS3. Titled Buu Buu Cocoreccho, the game will use the tilt function of the Sixaxis controller to move the world so you can guide your little smiling blobs through the level and into the goal at the other end. It’ll be coming to you over the PlayStation Network so hopefully this means we’ll all be able to play it sooner rather than later.
